Inspection and Unloading to Meet NZ Standards
Port Pack & Cool Storage receives products in frozen, chilled reefer containers or in dry boxes. Containers are inspected, cleared and unloaded to meet the requirements of NZ MAF Biosecurity Standards.
We have accredited cold storage staff members that are responsible for identifying potential biosecurity threats, such as pests and diseases that arrive in imported sea containers.
We require correct documentation prior to unloading containers. This includes a Biosecurity Authority Clearance Certificate (BACC) or a Customs Delivery Order to ensure the container has a MAF release.
